Melissa Bravo

Creative Director, Dance Instructor.

Melissa began her training in dance over 20 years ago. She studied various styles, including Hip Hop, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Tap, Jazz, and Poms & Tumbling. Melissa realized her passion for teaching dance when she became a teaching assistant. From that point on, she worked diligently and tenaciously, learning from instructors at different studios, camps, conventions, and master classes with the primary goal of sharing knowledge to her peers and students. Melissa was a member of several dance companies in Chicago where she performed, choreographed, and competed at FACT, MAFA, Intercollegiate Urban Dance Competition, Urbanite, Carnival Choreographer's Ball, Masterpiece Dance Competition, Prelude Midwest, and World of Dance. Through these experiences, she has won multiple titles including and alongside The Puzzle League. Melissa has been a director, consultant, and choreographer for multiple urban dance groups throughout the Chicagoland area. Moreover, she has performed as a back up dancer in music videos for local and national artists. Melissa is eager to share her experiences with the Chicago community!
